The selected candidate will join an expanding team of physicians and work clinically in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In this full-time role, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility and serve a medically diverse patient population. Experience or training in Epidemiology is preferred but not required as we are willing to teach the right candidate.
This position provides consultative inpatient care and follow-up, as well as outpatient clinic hours which provide care to general infectious disease, HIV, and hepatitis C patients. This position is Monday through Friday and includes a monthly weekend consultative coverage.
Salisbury is located at the head of the Wicomico River, the navigable waterway that leads to the Chesapeake Bay. As a Chesapeake Bay maritime community, Salisbury boasts the second largest water port in Maryland. It is a central spot on the lower Eastern Shore 30 miles west of Ocean City and two hours south of Baltimore in the heart of the Delmarva Peninsula.
