Debebe Fikremariam, MD completed his medical school and internship at Addis Ababa University. He was a general practitioner for a few years before returning to AAU, where he joined the post-graduate program faculty and completed his residency in general surgery. Dr. Fikremariam was the chief resident of surgery during his final year of his surgical residency and practiced as a general surgeon for a few years in Ethiopia.
Dr. Fikremariam completed his anesthesiology residency at West Virginia University Department of Anesthesiology in Morgantown W. Va. He served as a chief resident of the department during his final year. Dr. Fikremariam graduated from the program in 2010 and has been part of TidalHealth Anesthesiology ever since.
