TidalHealth Seniors members and TidalHealth team members are invited to a free gentle yoga class for Mental Health Awareness Month taught by certified yoga instructor/reiki practitioner and TidalHealth Seniors program coordinator, Megan Koester.
Yoga is a mind-body exercise that has been said to decrease stress/anxiety, lead to physical relaxation, promote mindfulness, and more restful sleep. This form of moving meditation teaches you to be more present and self-aware as you use the breath as an anchor to move from one pose to the next.
This offering will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 pm Monday, May 23 in the Avery W. Hall Educational Center Aerobics Room located at 100 E. Carroll St., Salisbury, MD. A limited number of yoga mats and blocks will be available. Please bring your own if you have them.
Space is limited so pre-registration is required. You may reserve your space by calling 410-543-7170 or emailing [email protected]. If you would like to join TidalHealth Seniors, a health and wellness program for adults 55+ please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the application for the free program
