Screening
Colorectal Screening
If you're 50 years old or older, getting a screening test for colorectal cancer could save your life. Colonoscopy is a procedure to look for polyps, abnormal areas, or cancer. Regular screening, beginning at age 50, is the key to preventing colorectal cancer. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends that adults age 50 to 75 be screened for colorectal cancer.
