Someone needs blood every few seconds in the United States, and more than 4.5 million Americans would die every year without lifesaving blood transfusions.
TidalHealth has partnered with the Blood Bank of Delmarva to hold the following blood drives on the following dates in September:
- Friday, Sept. 22 from 9 am to 2:30 pm in the Medical Staff Conference Room at TidalHealth Nanticoke located at 801 Middleford Road in Seaford, Del. Schedule an appointment for this blood drive.
- Tuesday, Oct. 24 at TidalHealth Mears Campus located at 100 Rawlins Drive in Seaford, Del. More details coming soon!
- Friday, Oct. 27 from 9 am to 2 pm in the Avery W. Hall Educational Center Auditorium at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional located at 100 E. Carroll Street in Salisbury, Md. Schedule an appointment for this blood drive.
One blood donation can save up to three lives. If you can't attend one of these blood drives but would still like to donate, visit the BBD website or call 1-888-8-BLOOD-8 to find an upcoming blood drive in your area.
