TidalHealth Nanticoke is pleased to announce that Victoria Bas, CST, of the Medical Surgical Unit (MSU) has been selected as its Sunshine Award recipient for February 2024.
Bas was selected for her care and special attention shown recently to a patient who submitted the following nomination:
"Victoria was my nighttime tech on Jan. 30 and 31. She was very thorough in her job duties. In addition to taking blood pressure and other vitals, she offered to give a bath, fresh gown and change sheets. She ensured I had my bag of toiletries, toothbrush, deodorant, lotion, etc. which I used every day during my stay. Victoria was fully willing to be helpful and treated me like you would want a family member or loved one to be treated. Thank you for caring!"
Bas was honored in a ceremony before her coworkers and presented with fresh flowers, a pin and a certificate recognizing her exceptional devotion to team and patient care.
