Inaugural Delaware Laboratory Legend Awardee

Lindsey Shortall has been named TidalHealth Nanticoke's inaugural Laboratory Legend Award winner. This award recognizes TidalHealth's laboratory technical team members who demonstrate exceptional performance in accountability, compassion, commitment, problem-solving and/or teamwork.

Shortall has been a laboratory scientist with TidalHealth Nanticoke for 20 years. She displays her dedication and compassion for her job on a daily basis. She is always available to help and answer questions for any team member at any time. She recently implemented a new Blood Bank automated instrument which took a lot of time and hard work.

Shortall works very closely with students and new team members to ensure they are comfortable with their expectations and duties in the Blood Bank. She is easy to approach and always goes the extra mile to help whenever and wherever needed. She is appreciated by her co-workers and management in the laboratory department.
