TidalHealth is pleased to announce that Alexandrea Cisar, DPT, physical therapist at TidalHealth Nanticoke, is the May 2025 recipient of the Marc McDonald Award.
Cisar was recognized for her professionalism, compassion, and commitment to the healing and well-being of TidalHealth’s patients:

Alexandrea takes the time to educate family members, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to provide the best possible care at home. Her professionalism, empathy, and collaborative spirit reflect the same values that Marc McDonald embodied throughout his career. She is a true asset to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team and a shining example of the healing mission at TidalHealth.”
The Marc McDonald Award is given to TidalHealth team members in the fields of physical, occupational and speech therapy in recognition and memory of Marc McDonald, an outstanding lead physical therapist at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford, Del. He passed unexpectedly in 2022, but not before leaving a legacy of exceptional patient care.
