Congratulations to Michelle Leatherbury, TidalHealth’s Director of Food and Nutrition at our Salisbury hospital.
On Wednesday, Michelle was presented with the 2024 Metz Exemplary Performance Award.
This is incredibly prestigious, as Metz Culinary Management, our contractor of food services at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, presents this award each year to only seven leaders among its 450 nationwide clients.
More remarkable is the fact that it's unheard of for any leader to receive the Metz Exemplary Performance Award more than once. This is Michelle's second recognition with this national award in just the past two years.
Michelle was chosen based on her abilities to excel across the key team member attributes of confidence, friendliness, positivity, responsibility, team spirit, trustworthiness, and zip…including her ability to motivate others and make great things happen.
Metz also based their choice on the core values of hospitality, balance, fun, integrity, fairness, respect, inclusion, and quality; all of which the company rewarded Michelle for bringing to work each day.
