Primary care offices recognized by Quality Insights

TidalHealth is pleased to announce that its primary care offices in Delmar and Federalsburg have earned national recognition from Quality Insights for their efforts to combat hypertension and cardiovascular disease (CVD).

TidalHealth Primary Care in Delmar has been named a 2023 Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Champion by Quality Insights for their work in successfully managing patients with elevated cholesterol in the prevention of CVD via statin therapy. In August, the team was presented with a Certificate of Excellence for their work in successfully managing CVD.

TidalHealth Primary Care in Federalsburg has been named a 2023 Hypertension Hall of Fame Champion by Quality Insights for having at least 80% of its hypertensive patient population with blood pressure in control (<140/90). In June, the team was presented with a Certificate of Excellence for their work in successfully managing hypertension.
