The Special Treasures Are Remembered (STAR) program at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional will host a Candlelight Memorial Service from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at City Church Fruitland, located at 620 W. Main St., Fruitland, MD 21826.
This evening of remembrance and fellowship allows local families the opportunity to honor the memory of babies who left too soon. Individuals and families are invited to light a memorial candle in remembrance of their loved ones. A catered reception will follow.

The mission of the STAR program is to serve the needs of parents and families who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or infant death. With help from the community, the program provides families with personalized keepsakes that they can cherish forever, and support through various resources and annual events including a Memory Walk in October and the Candlelight Memorial Service in December.
