HeartSmart Screenings
TidalHealth offers free HeartSmart Screenings at various locations during the month of February. Call 410-543-7026 to schedule an appointment.
Go Red, “Walk the Red Carpet”
Friday, Feb. 7 from 5-9 pm at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Student Service Center Ballroom A, 30665 Princess Anne, MD 21853.
Heart Month Scavenger Hunt
Feb. 15-16, 8 am-5 pm. The public is encouraged to visit Cypress (101 Clarke Avenue, Pocomoke), Byrd (400 Dighton Avenue, Snow Hill) and/or Stephen Decatur Parks (Rte 113 and Tripoli Street, Berlin) in Worcester County on Feb. 15 and 16 to locate heart health messages. Free registration is available starting Jan. 27 at Eventbrite.
Atlantic General Hospital’s Healthy Heart Event
Saturday, Feb. 22 from 9 am to noon at the Ocean Pines Library at 11107 Cathell Road. Blood pressure screenings, heart health education and more.
No-cost, hands-only CPR training
These classes will be provided by Dr. Zachary Townsend, assistant professor of exercise science at Salisbury University. Register for either class at Eventbrite.
