TidalHealth Nanticoke is pleased to announce that Tallie Schroeder, RRT, is its Tree of Life Award recipient for May 2025.
This award honors respiratory therapists who provide excellent care to patients, make a special connection, and are engaged with the care team to ensure the best outcomes for their patients.
Schroeder was nominated for the compassionate care she provides and her dedication to her patients:
“Tallie is always compassionate during the care of her patients. She takes the time to explain things to her patients and offers support.
I can say this personally when I was recently a patient requiring the assistance of the respiratory team. During a very stressful situation, Tallie ensured my immediate respiratory needs were met, then sat down, held my hand, talked to me and explained everything going on around me. Her calm presence, kind words and expert support made a world of difference.
In moments filled with uncertainty, Tallie brings comfort not only to the patients but to their families as well.”
