TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Mariya Trifonova, MSN, APRN, to TidalHealth Cardiology in Salisbury.
Trifonova received her master’s degree in nursing with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certificate from Wilmington University in Newark, Del. She also received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and received her Health Information Technology Certificate from Wilmington University.
Trifonova is certified by the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers and AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. She worked as a certified critical care nurse in the cardiac stepdown unit at TidalHealth in Salisbury prior to earning her APRN certification. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the American College of Cardiology.
Trifonova is married with two boys and has lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for 18 years. She loves traveling with family and friends, but also enjoys solo trips. She loves drawing and writing, as well as spending a quiet evening at home with her husband and children, cooking together and watching a good movie.
