Nicole Alu, DO, is the associate program director, FMP director and core faculty member for TidalHealth’s Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Nicole Alu is originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, where she worked for Family Practice Center, P.C., and subsequently Geisinger Medical Center, where she worked as a family physician. At that time, she helped initiate the Kistler Family Medicine Residency and was responsible for all aspects of family medicine, from hospital to nursing home care of patients, while teaching residents and medical students.
She started her career on Delmarva in 2008 in Laurel, Del., and Salisbury, Md., working for what was then known as Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She worked in an employee-based wellness center for Premise Health, a large nationwide healthcare company, before returning to TidalHealth. She is excited to return to teaching and training future family doctors in this vital community health setting.
