Dr. Anna Maria Izquierdo-Porrera is a highly respected geriatrics specialist whose career has focused on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to older adults and strengthening the systems that support aging populations. A board-certified geriatrician with extensive experience in clinical, administrative, and educational roles, she has served as a medical director for programs dedicated to dementia care, chronic disease management, and supportive services for aging adults and their caregivers.

Her clinical expertise spans cognitive disorders, frailty, multimorbidity, polypharmacy, falls, and functional decline, emergence in geriatrics, with a guiding commitment to person-centered, culturally responsive, and dignity-affirming care.
