About Areej Khan, MD, Program Director
Areej Khan, MD received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica; she completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.; and she completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease at Columbia University/Harlem Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Khan is a member of the American College of Physicians and Surgeons, the American Medical Student Association, and the Infectious Disease Society of America. She was named a 2020 Top Doctor by Delaware Today. Her professional interests include travel medicine; diabetic foot infections; skin, joint and bone infections; endocarditis; tick-borne illness; hepatitis C; HIV and all cases related to the novel coronavirus-19.
