Arfa Ahmad, MD

Arfa Ahmad, MD, was born and grew up in Lahore, Pakistan. She did her early education in Pakistan and then went to King Edward Medical University to complete medical school. She passed medical school with honors and distinction in the subjects of physiology, community medicine and OB/GYN.  

Later, Dr. Ahmad moved to the U.S. and completed her internal medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. She served as a third-year chief resident during residency. Dr. Ahmad joined TidalHealth as a hospitalist and later joined the internal medicine faculty. She is passionate about hospital medicine and resident education.
