Aser Kandil, MD

Dr. Aser Kandil graduated from Cairo Medical School. He served in the Egyptian Army Medical Corps. He was trained as an otolaryngologist in the Egyptian Institute of Teaching hospitals, got a master's degree in medicine and served in the Egyptian Ministry of Health General Hospitals as an ENT specialist before immigrating to the U.S.

He trained as a general pediatrician at Miami Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida, and as a neonatologist at Children's National Medical Center, in Washington, D.C. Dr. Kandil served underserved communities in Mississippi as a pediatrician and a neonatologist before moving to Salisbury, Maryland, to serve as the medical director of neonatal services at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.
