Catherine Casto, MD, FACOG

Catherine Casto, MD, FACOG provides obstetric and gynecologic care at TidalHealth OB/GYN and specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic and robotic surgery. She serves as Medical Director of Gynecologic Services for TidalHealth.

Dr. Casto is originally from Snow Hill and resides on her family farm. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in cell and molecular biology from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and her medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, where she won several teaching awards and honors for both clinical and bench research.

Dr. Casto is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She has more than 20 years of experience treating women on the Eastern Shore and has expertise in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, complex cases including complex vaginal surgery, and anti-incontinence procedures. She is committed to providing excellent medical and surgical care to the community and striving to improve the standard of care by collaborating with her medical peers.  

Dr. Casto has served as the chief of OB/GYN at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional and has received many awards and honors, including being voted as Top Doc for Wicomico County in 2024 and Best OB/GYN on the Eastern Shore multiple times.
