Elyse Lamey

I am a third-year medical student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. A “born and raised Delawarean,” I grew up in Delaware and completed my undergraduate at the University of Delaware, with a double major in Biology and Liberal Studies. While there, I had the unique experience of joining UD’s Division I Rowing team—despite having never rowed before. 

I am currently open to any specialty and look forward to discovering my ideal field during my rotations at TidalHealth. I’m especially excited to begin working more closely with patients, applying what I’ve learned so far, and continuing to grow through hands-on clinical experience. 

Outside of medicine, I love hiking, spending time outdoors, and being with my two cats and family. I also happen to be an identical twin and a triplet, which always makes for an interesting story and a very full house. I enjoy backpacking and hope to fit in a trip sometime this year. My family has a beach house in Ocean City, Maryland, so I’m hoping to visit whenever I get the chance. 

I’m truly excited for all the experiences this year will bring and to continue growing both personally and professionally during my time at TidalHealth.
