Heather Metcalf, MD
About Heather Metcalf, MD - Newborns Education Coordinator
Dr. Metcalf is from the Baltimore area. She moved to the Eastern Shore in 2017. Dr. Metcalf has been practicing newborn medicine since graduating from residency at the University of Wisconsin in 2016. She has enjoyed teaching residents and medical students throughout her career. She is also very involved in quality improvement projects in the newborn nursery at TidalHealth Peninsula and was Chief of the Pediatric Department from 2022 to 2026. She continues to serve as Assistant Chief.
