About Kathryn Fiddler, DNP, Core Faculty

Kathryn M. Fiddler, DNP, MBA, RN, Vice President Population Health is the Vice President of Population Health for TidalHealth, and in 2022 was named its Interim Chief Nursing Executive. Joining the health system in 2016, she is responsible for leading TidalHealth’s Population Health efforts within the hospital and in the community and is the lead executive for the health system’s nursing efforts.  

She supervises the Patient Care Management teams for both hospitals and community care coordination efforts in Sussex County and the Lower Shore of Maryland.  As part of those efforts, she leads Care Coordination for the Peninsula Regional Clinically Integrated Network (PRCIN) and is the Clinical Leader for the Care Transformation Organization within PRCIN. She heads up the Community Health efforts including the Salisbury Wicomico Integrated First Care Team (SWIFT) community paramedic program, the Wagner Wellness Van, Diabetes Education and Sussex County School Based Wellness Centers. She also has responsibility to the Richard A Henson Research Institute and Alice B. Tawes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Prior to joining TidalHealth, Dr. Fiddler worked for CareFirst in Baltimore, as the Senior Director for the Patient Centered Medical Home program. She is also a retired Major in the United States Air Force Reserve and has twice been named One of Maryland’s Top 100 Women.  

Dr. Fiddler holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Salisbury University, a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, a Master of Science degree and Bachelor’s in Nursing degree both from Salisbury University.
