About Marlee Franden
I am a third-year medical student at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. Though my family and I are originally from Illinois, I grew up in South Jersey. I attended Kean University for my undergraduate degree, where I majored in biomedicine. I also played soccer for the Kean women’s soccer team, which was a nice place to end my 17-year soccer career.
Having been an athlete for most of my life, I am most interested in musculoskeletal medicine and hope to pursue a career in which I can continue working with athletes. I believe movement is medicine, and I want to help everyone stay active. I am also interested in lifestyle medicine and hope to incorporate this into my future practice.
I am very active and spend my free time working out, hiking, and in nature if the weather is nice. I am especially excited to explore the state parks and visit the beaches while I am in Maryland. Recently, I have been spending a lot of my free time playing pickleball or watching movies with my friends. I am excited to be here at TidalHealth and cannot wait to see what the next year brings.
