Penny Short

Penny Short, MSM, BSN, RN, is the President of TidalHealth Nanticoke. She joined TidalHealth Nanticoke (the former Nanticoke Memorial Hospital) in 1983 as a nurse and has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field.  

Mrs. Short received her Associate degree in Nursing from Delaware Technical Community College, her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Wilmington University and a Master of Science in Management from Wilmington University.   

Mrs. Short serves on the Board of Directors for the Sussex County Montessori School. She is a member of the American Organization for Nurse Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves as Board Chair for the Delaware Healthcare Association.
