About Rebekah Lee
My name is Rebekah Lee, and I am a third-year medical student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My journey into medicine has been profoundly shaped by my father, a pastor, and my mother. Witnessing my parents' dedication to serving others and providing both spiritual and emotional support inspired me deeply. Combined with my fascination with human anatomy and cellular functions, this early exposure guided me toward a career in medicine.
Before entering medical school, I earned a degree in biology from Boston College and a master’s in medical sciences from Boston University. Research is a core component of my academic and professional life. I have explored various areas, including lipid storage diseases, gender-affirming surgeries, and ototoxic effects of cancer treatments. At present, I am particularly interested in gastroenterology and ENT, but I remain open to all specialties. I look forward to discovering my ideal field during my rotations at TidalHealth.
My interests outside of medicine include fitness, photography, and journaling. I have also recently picked up water coloring in my spare time. I love a strong cup of black coffee and anything sweet.
