Ryan Murphy

I am a third-year medical student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Originally from Fenwick Island, Delaware, I graduated from Worcester Prep before earning a Biology degree with a minor in Spanish from the College of Charleston Honors College. I later obtained a Master of Science from Drexel University College of Medicine. 

Blending my passion for medicine and the Spanish language, I have volunteered as a medical interpreter, helping bridge communication gaps in healthcare. I am very active in advocacy for osteopathic medical students and serve on the Student Osteopathic Medical Association’s National Board as the Strategic Partnerships Director. My research interests focus on dermatology and women’s health, with a long-term goal of becoming a reproductive endocrinologist. 

Outside of medicine, I love relaxing at the beach, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. I am excited to return home for my rotations at Tidal Health, where I look forward to giving back to the community that shaped me.
