About Samantha Scott, PhD - Teaching Faculty - Psychiatry

Samantha L. Scott, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and a member of the teaching faculty for the TidalHealth Psychiatry Residency Program. She also serves as Program Director of the TidalHealth Postdoctoral Clinical Psychology Consortium and is the clinical director and co-owner of The Child & Family Center. Additionally, Dr. Scott is the founder and CEO of The Child & Family Foundation, Inc.


Dr. Scott earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2004, her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2012, and a master’s degree in psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2017.


As psychiatry residency faculty, Dr. Scott is actively involved in resident education, supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration across clinical settings. Her teaching interests include psychological assessment, psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and integrated behavioral health care. She is committed to fostering clinical excellence, professional development, and evidence-based practice among resident physicians.
