About Thomas Wissman
I am a third-year medical student from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
I am originally from Glenwood, Md., where I grew up alongside three older brothers. Throughout grade school, I spent much of my free time learning gymnastics and playing cello in various orchestras.
After high school, I attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences and performed in circus-like gymnastics shows with the university's Gymkana Troupe.
Today, I still practice gymnastics and cello when I can. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, rock climbing, weightlifting, or simply relaxing at home with my cats.
