Tyler Hoops

I am a third-year medical student at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  

My hometown is Mendham, N.J. in North Jersey. I attended the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford for my undergraduate degree and majored in biology. I was also part of the men’s baseball team while attending Pitt-Bradford and was able to compete all four years.  

I am currently interested in emergency medicine. From my experience as an EMT, I enjoy learning about applying acute critical care and being part of a team. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of the emergency medicine field while also exploring other specialties at TidalHealth.

I look forward to learning more about Maryland’s Eastern Shore while staying in Salisbury. I am always looking for ways to be active, whether it is hiking through national parks or exploring the area’s beaches.

I’m excited to be a part of the TidalHealth team and to have the chance to give back to the local community.
