Eric Munoz, MD, MBA received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif.; completed his surgical internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas; and his clinical and research fellowship in cardiac transplantation and mechanical assist devices from the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas.
He completed his residency in surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he was chief surgical resident. He was chief resident in cardiac surgery and resident in cardiothoracic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Munoz later received his MBA in the Physician Executive Program at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn.
Dr. Munoz is board-certified and a diplomat of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He comes with a wealth of research and clinical experience and utilizes the latest technology and his skills to provide the best cardiovascular care to his patients. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
