John Foley, MD
Physician Overview
John Foley, MD earned his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., He completed his rotating internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and his urology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Foley is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and carries active membership with the American Urological Association and the military and VA Urologists’ group, The Society of Government Service Urologists.
He has served in many military assignments with the U.S. Army and received multiple awards of distinction and merit before retiring at the rank of Colonel in 2005. Some accolades include clinical research, presentations at regional and national meetings, deployment in support of Gulf War II, and serving as assistant Chief of Urology, Brooke Army Center, among others.
Dr. Foley comes to TidalHealth with more than 35 years of clinical experience, most recently as an attending urologist with the University of Maryland Shore Health System in Easton, Md., which included four years as Chief of Surgery.
