Abha Gupta, MD has lived and worked in Sussex County since 2005, providing obstetrical and gynecological care for more than 17 years.
Dr. Gupta is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from Punjab University, Christian Medical College in Punjab, India. She trained as an OB/GYN physician and was an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology prior to moving to the United States.
After earning a Master of Public Health at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Gupta completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark (now part of Rutgers). While there, she served as a chief resident and received numerous awards.
Dr. Gupta is experienced in routine and high-risk pregnancies, adolescent gynecology, gynecological surgery and procedures, infertility, urinary incontinence, minimally invasive surgery, and the latest in contraceptive techniques. She is certified as a menopause practitioner by the North American Menopause Society. Her professional memberships include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists.
