After dedicating several years to providing progressive healthcare, Palekar went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University, where she earned an Academic Excellence Award, served as the commencement speaker, and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Towson University.
Palekar is a certified family nurse practitioner with an additional certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. She is a member of the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
