Messner received her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., and she is currently in a post-master’s doctorate in nursing program at University of Maryland School of Nursing.
Messner is a certified registered nurse practitioner and has been in practice as a family nurse practitioner since 2010. She is also a certified diabetes educator (CDE).
