Dr. Gupta received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Affiliate Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield, New Jersey. He completed a research fellowship from the Cardiovascular Research Institute at University of California, San Francisco. He then completed his general cardiology fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia in Columbia, Missouri followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Gupta is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology. He specializes in coronary, peripheral arterial, and venous interventions as well as pulmonary thrombectomy.
Dr. Gupta was in private practice for over two decades as an interventional and general cardiologist. When not treating patients, he enjoys financial economics, hobby farming, running, swimming, bicycling, skiing, boating and hiking. He is married with two children.
