Scott Sweeney, DO earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He later completed his residency at Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice, and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians.
He has worked as an attending/preceptor for a family practice residency program and as medical director at Union Primary Care/Atrium Health in Wesley Chapel, NC.
