Grace Salacup, MD earned her medical degree from the University of the City of Manila-College of Medicine in the Philippines. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Jefferson Health-Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Dr. Salacup is a pulmonary and critical care physician with expertise in the management of critically ill patients and general pulmonary conditions. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. She has a special interest in bronchoscopy and specializes in asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung disease.
Dr. Salacup also serves as a lung transplant liaison. She helps guide patients through the transplant evaluation and referral process, and bridges care for post-transplant patients beyond one year to their long-term transplant centers.
