Karren Lewis, MD, MPH, FACOG discovered her passion for women’s health while growing up on her family’s sheep ranch in Wyoming. She earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, where she co-founded several service-learning projects and received the U.S. Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Award. She later earned a Master of Public Health in Global Health and completed her OB/GYN residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. During residency, she was recognized with awards for excellence in gynecologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Lewis has held multiple faculty appointments, authored clinical publications, and presented widely on OB/GYN topics. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, family planning, medical education, and global health. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized, and equitable care.
