STAR Infant Loss Memorial Walk
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, remember babies lost during pregnancy or infancy, and to support families who’ve experienced loss and let them know they are not alone.
In observance of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day on Oct. 15, TidalHealth’s Special Treasures Are Remembered (STAR) program will host an Infant Loss Memorial Walk at 5:30 pm at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury.
The event will be held rain or shine in the Guerrieri Heart & Vascular Institute lobby, which will be illuminated outside with pink and blue lights. Attendees may create personalized keepsakes and enjoy light refreshments before taking part in a walk around the hospital campus, including a visit to the STAR Memorial Garden.

TidalHealth’s STAR program serves the needs of families who have suffered the loss of a baby through ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death.
