Jayla Bright, Certified Nursing Assistant of TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 3 West patient care area, is the April 2023 Sunshine Award recipient for her kindness, professionalism and compassion.
A patient under her care wrote and submitted the following nomination.
Jayla brings so much professionalism with a very caring and enthusiastic manner. She takes the lead and problem solves every opportunity she has. She makes an unbearable situation a little easier to endure.
Being sick is not easy, but being cared for by someone that is so caring and professional is remarkable. Her work ethic is awesome, and for someone of her young age, she’s so worthy of this award. She is a true asset to your team and a born leader for the organization.
Jayla Bright was honored in a ceremony before her coworkers, and presented with fresh flowers, a pin and a certificate recognizing her exceptional devotion to team and patient care.
