TidalHealth's Laboratory Outreach Services team is pleased to announce that Michael “Tom” Davis is the recipient of its 4th Quarter 2025 Monarch Award.
Tom is an experienced phlebotomist who joined TidalHealth FamilyLab in Seaford just nine months ago. He was nominated for his exceptional customer service and outstanding performance.
With 18 years of healthcare experience, Tom is often recognized by patients for providing a painless stick. Patient survey feedback highlights his impact, including comments such as: “Tom was awesome,” “Very respectful,” “Tom easily obtained my blood,” “No pain,” and “I really like Tom.”
Tom is highly patient‑focused and stays actively engaged throughout the day. In September and October, he performed more than 800 collections each month, setting a record as the highest‑performing phlebotomist on the Lab Outreach team. Even on the busiest days, he consistently delivers compassionate care with friendly, courteous service.
In addition to his clinical excellence, Tom demonstrates exceptional dedication to his team by routinely adjusting his schedule to help keep TidalHealth FamilyLab in Seaford adequately staffed during peak patient volumes.
