Marc McDonald Award: August 2026

TidalHealth is proud to congratulate to Jason Brumfield, occupational therapist assistant at TidalHealth McCready Pavilion, on receiving the Marc McDonald Award.

Brumfield was nominated for the exceptional care, empathy and encouragement he provides to his patients, especially during difficult moments in their recovery.

One patient’s family shared how Brumfield consistently took the time to lift their loved one’s spirits, offer encouragement and listen when she needed support most. They said his kindness and ability to truly listen helped motivate her through a difficult period and ultimately contributed to a successful outcome.

Brumfield’s compassion and dedication are a reminder of the meaningful impact our team members can have on a patient’s recovery and overall experience.
