Seaford Sunshine Awardee: June 2026

TidalHealth Nanticoke is pleased to announce that Gail Hill, CST of the Medical Surgical Unit (MSU), has been selected as its Sunshine Award recipient.

Hill was nominated by two patients for her compassion, attentiveness, professionalism, and exceptional commitment to patient care.

The patients shared how Hill consistently went above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being during difficult moments. They praised her kindness, positive attitude, and genuine concern for those in her care, noting that she regularly checked in to make sure they were comfortable and provided encouragement throughout their recovery. One patient described Hill as "very professional" and said she always left them with a smile. Another recognized her for her attentiveness and willingness to help in any way possible, calling her someone who is "here to truly help people, not just for a paycheck."

Hill was honored in a ceremony before her coworkers and presented with fresh flowers, a pin, and a certificate recognizing her exceptional devotion to team and patient care.
