Tidal Health Peninsula Regional’s Simona Eng, DO, honored as Guardian Angel

At the heart of the TidalHealth Foundation is the Guardian Angel program — a meaningful way for patients and families to honor caregivers who made a profound difference in their medical journey through compassion, expertise and humanity.

Simona Eng, DO, FACOI, SFHM, FACP a hospitalist at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, was recently recognized through this program. Eng is also Associate Vice President of Medical Education/Designated Institutional Official; Associate Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency and Executive Medical Director of Acute Care.

Receiving six separate nominations, Eng was recognized by grateful patients, colleagues, and mentees for her exceptional knowledge, compassion, leadership, and dedication to both patient care and medical education. Nominators described her as a trusted mentor, an inspiring physician, and someone whose kindness and commitment leave a lasting impact on those around her.
