TidalHealth partners with Pulse Radiology Institute

TidalHealth has announced a partnership with Pulse Radiology Institute to provide advanced, ARRT-accredited educational programs for imaging professionals. This collaboration is designed to help TidalHealth team members enhance their skills, advance their careers and meet the growing demand for diagnostic imaging services across the health system.

The partnership reinforces TidalHealth’s commitment to professional development and patient-centered care by ensuring imaging teams remain at the forefront of clinical excellence. Through this collaboration, TidalHealth’s upskilling program will provide accredited training in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and mammography, while offering participants the opportunity to earn more than 25 Category A continuing education credits recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

“Working with innovative partners such as TidalHealth is closely aligned with our purpose as a leading educator of imaging professionals,” said Nader Qaimari, CEO of Edcetera, parent company of Pulse Radiology Institute. “Their foresight and commitment to upskilling their team to address the growing labor shortage affecting centers across the nation make them the ideal partner. They are solving real problems for their community, and we are proud to be part of it.”

In addition to advanced training for licensed technologists, TidalHealth will host clinical rotations for Pulse Radiology’s MRI Associate of Science program. This initiative creates new pathways for TidalHealth team members who do not currently hold a radiologic technologist license to pursue careers in MRI. TidalHealth has already enrolled its first student and anticipates adding more participants soon.

“We’re excited to partner with Pulse Radiology Institute to bring advanced, ARRT-approved educational programs to our imaging professionals,” said Charles Dolan, DHSc, MBA, CPHQ, CPHRM, FACHE, FRSPH, TidalHealth’s vice president of clinical operations. “This collaboration not only empowers our licensed technologists to expand into new modalities like CT, MRI and mammography, but also opens doors for individuals seeking entry-level MRI training. It’s a significant step toward strengthening our workforce and improving access to high-quality diagnostic imaging for the communities we serve.”
