TidalHealth's Joy Rembold among Delaware’s best nurses for 2026

On May 6, 2026, TidalHealth nurses attended Delaware Today's Excellence in Nursing banquet in Newark, Delaware. The Excellence in Nursing awards recognize the state’s top nurses, who will be featured in Delaware Today’s May 2026 issue.

This year, 30 nurses from TidalHealth were among the Excellence in Nursing nominees.

Joy Rembold, MSN, RN, Progressive Care Unit clinical manager at TidalHealth Nanticoke, was selected as the Volunteerism and Service category winner, marking her among the top 1% of nurses in Delaware.

All winners were selected by their professional peers through a survey conducted by the Delaware Nurses Association in partnership with Delaware Today. Only Delaware-licensed nurses were eligible to vote.
