Carter Kenton, PA-C, ATC, cares for patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions at TidalHealth Peninsula Orthopaedic Institute. He provides evaluation and treatment for fractures, sprains, arthritis, sports injuries, tendon and ligament disorders, overuse injuries and postoperative orthopedic care.
Carter helps patients with pain relief, injury recovery, fracture management, rehabilitation coordination and restoring function and mobility. He also guides patients through operative and nonoperative treatment options, helping them make informed decisions about their care.
He strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered orthopedic care by listening carefully to each patient’s concerns, thoroughly explaining diagnoses and treatment options, and using shared decision-making. His goal is to help patients understand their condition and develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with their needs and goals.
Care philosophy
Carter Kenton, PA-C, ATC, brings a unique perspective to patient care through his background as an athletic trainer working with high-level athletes. He combines that experience with his orthopedic training to help patients of all activity levels prevent injuries, recover, restore function and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Carter works closely with each patient to make sure they feel heard, informed, respected and supported throughout their care journey. His goal is to help every patient feel confident in their treatment plan while working toward the best possible functional outcome.
Outside of His Work
Outside of work, Carter enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs. He loves being outdoors, especially at the beach, and enjoys both playing and watching sports.
