Jennifer Ketterman, APRN FNP-C, cares for patients preparing to undergo orthopedic surgery at TidalHealth Peninsula Orthopaedic Institute.
Ketterman ensures that each patient is in optimal health prior to surgery, giving them the best chance for a great outcome and improved quality of life. She aims to help her patients feel prepared for surgery by answering questions and ensuring they feel as ready as possible for their upcoming orthopedic surgery.
Care philosophy
Ketterman believes in treating patients with respect, kindness, and compassion. She will listen to their concerns, fears, worries, and questions and will work with them as they navigate their health journey in preparation for surgery. She will also celebrate wins with her patients as they regain function they may have lost, making sure they feel informed, respected, heard, comforted, and supported throughout their care journey.
Beyond Patient Care
Outside of work, Ketterman loves spending time with her husband, their two children, and two dogs. She and her family love the beach, camping, swimming in their pool, and sitting by a bonfire making s’mores. They are also active in their church and participate in local activities in Seaford and surrounding areas.
