Jason Chavez

Jason Chavez, MD, provides care to patients with various illnesses and conditions at TidalHealth Infectious Disease in Delmar, Delaware.

Dr. Chavez treats a broad spectrum of infectious diseases and provides preventive care and travel-related counseling.

He is committed to a patient-centered approach to his treatment plans that makes his patients feel included and informed. He incorporates cura personalis -- or care of the whole person -- in his medical practice. 

Care philosophy

Outside of work, Dr. Chavez enjoys trying regional cuisines, especially Peruvian cuisine, driving across the Bay to his original stomping grounds in Washington, D.C., and traveling to new countries each year. He enjoys watching hockey, especially the Washington Capitals, watching movies, playing guitar, and listening to alternative rock/pop punk music.
